CALIFORNIA'S 2022 $97.5 BILLION BUDGET SURPLUS

The State of California has another $97.5 billion surplus for the 2022-23 fiscal year, thanks again to California's tax paying residents in 2021, but still no mention of any of these funds being designated to low-income, the poor, the unhoused, SSA, SSI, SSDI, Calfresh, or Calworks residents and recipients who do not file any taxes.

Please sign and share this petition, lets continue to let our governor know that these California residents and recipients should not be excluded or denied any state stimulus or surplus money.

Californian’s could possibly get another $1125 - $4500 in stimulus money this summer 2022 Republican state Sen. Brian Jones estimated. 

(SSDI) Social Security Disability Insurance, (SSA) Social Security Admin., recipients which includes (SSI), (SSP) and VA Disability recipients as well as all low-income, the unhoused, Calfresh and Calworks California residents are all in desperate need of any stimulus money because many only survive on their monthly benefits.

The cost of this pandemic and now the war in the Ukraine has put additional strains on these beneficiaries, residents and recipients.  (SSDI), (SSA) recipients and all low-income residents should not have been left out from any California State Stimulus Plan who do not file any taxes.

(SSDI), (SSA), low-income, Calfresh and Calworks residents were not left out of:

 1. Cares Act of 2020, $1200 
 2. Consolidated Appropriation Act of 2021, $600
 3. American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, $1400

The cost of living continues to rise and the 5.9%, 2022 COLA  for those who are on Social Security and low-income is simply not enough.  Rent, food, utilities, gas, insurance, medical expenses, etc., have all quadrupled!!
