The fight to save our library is more important than ever as Gannon University and Erie County administration continue to ignore those who want to Keep Our Library Public.

You can help us purchase an ad in the Erie Reader during the month of February.

The ad will encourage people to join the thousands of individuals who have already signed the online petition. The ad will look similar to the yard signs purchased earlier in the month. The Erie Reader has over 37,000+ people; this is a great opportunity to strengthen our growing movement.

Depending on how much we raise will determine the size of the ad. The deadline to have the ad in print for the February 8 edition is Feb 1.

To donate: https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/91pZp86Wht The cost of a full page ad is $2,400. So far we have $750.00.

Keep Our Library Public also has a Blasco Fiasco Music Protest Event on Wed, Jan 31 from 6-9 PM. Please join us.  We want to fill the plaza (ballroom) at the Maennerchor Plaza. Invite your friends and share the info:) There will be live music protest songs.  ONLY IF YOU CHOOSE, you can pre-purchase a $15 Food ticket for a buffet of hors d'oeuvres :https://www.ticketsource.us/latinos-inc/t-earqlqe  by Sunday 1 /28 at noon. There will also be a cash bar. However no purchase is necessary.

2. Tues Jan 30 is the next County Council meeting, at 6pm, in the Courthouse.  The council needs to hear our voices if they are going to rescind the Gannon lease.  Kudos to those who spoke at the last meeting, Jan 16.
