Bethesda Softworks has been working very hard on making mods on consoles possible, and pretty much every gamer was extremely excited about it. They are meant to make the game better, more exciting and simply add a lot of possibilities. Microsoft seems to have no problem with modding singleplayer games, so why do you?

Your decision has disappointed many from your fanbase, including Bethesda, but it's not too late to change your mind - allow mods for these selected games! It is going to raise sales, increase interest and kick the pc's position from its modding monopoly! Marketing-wise, this only makes sense.
