We almost have 10,000 signatures! Less than 300 to go. This is important as there is a psychological boost when we reach 5 digits - it seems much bigger than 9000.

You know the drill - share like you're a kid who got an ATAR of 99.95. 

I was not optimistic at the beginning of this campaign but, given the widespread support including by Kaz Cooke, Gideon Haigh and Helen Garner, I am now confident we are going to win this. But only if we keep going.

Turn up to the rally this Saturday outside the library at 12:30.

I have contacted Dr Monique Ryan, the federal member for Kooyong who helped me with the Trove campaign, and she is fully supportive and will lobby the state government. Our support is growing daily.

And remember why we are doing this. For me, the State Library is not only a beautiful place of refuge, learning and joy but also a democratic institution. It offers education for free. For anyone. For everyone. 

Do it for yourself. And do it for evertybody else.
