I recently learned of a current athletes story of discrimination by Coach Vinuela.  See above text message sharing their experience. This is a current FHS student so we are keeping their name private, they did give permission to share their experience. Not only is his discrimination illegal it's devastating to learn about. His patterns of discrimination span throughout his career. His poor behavior has been allowed to continue because FUSD leadership fails to hold him accountable. 

IGNORING IT WILL NOT MAKE IT GO AWAY. AS TIME PASSES NOT ONLY DOES OUR ADVOCATION GROWN, THE DISCRIMINATION GROWS WITH IT, THIS DEEPENS THE NEED FOR REAL CORRECTIONS. CORRECTIONS FUSD FAILS TO PROVIDE!!!

What will it take for FUSD to make corrections? Media attention? A class action lawsuit? Removal of elected officials?
