Just some words from me the Petitioner of this petition
The bottom-line is that Julian Assange is not free. Julian Assange is still being tortured and with him so is press freedom and at the moment that mean democracy is yet to be revived.
Always remember and always shout to the world : The Prime Minister of Australia signed this petition on his first day in office as Prime Minister of Australia, which was on May 23, 2023, on the very day he flew to meet with Joe Biden in Japan. That to me, the signing of this petition by the Prime Minister of Australia Mr Anthony Albanese is an undeniable step forward in our campaign to free Julian Assange. This petitioned campaign has always leveraged off our steps forward. To me as Petitioner, it was like/akin to the Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese writing his name in our ever expanding concrete pathway to free Julian Assange. The PM is one of us.
Every day we are more. Everyday We Get Stronger. My feelings are that together we will free Julian Assange. The PM signing on is a game changer, but we have to press to get Julian Assange out before he is tortured to death like the journalist Mr Fritz Michael Gerlich was.
We have to ensure that Julian Assange is not infected with a terminally disease that he may be exposed to whilst still in Belmarsh (functioning as a Totalitarian modelled concentration camp). Totalitarian's also caused the death of the Nobel Peace Prize 1935 winner, the journalist Mr Carl von Ossietzky.
Remembering that Nils Melzer whilst in the capacity of U.N. Special Rapporteur on Torture said words to the effect that the torture techniques used against Julian Assange were pioneers by the Nazi's of WWII. Further considering that that it is alleged Mr Mike Pompeo whilst Head of the CIA instigated discussions that centred on killing Julian Assange whilst he was in London.
Rest assured this campaign will only use and promote peaceful means to leverage from our steps forward. Remember in politics: In the world of meaningful citizens activism, there is ONLY one way for a citizen of Australia to lay their grievances before parliament and it is by petition. We/together helped build a pathway to free Julian Assange, before it's too late. To Stop the USA Extradition. Time will tell if we actually see Julian Assange free. Time is something that we (the diverse global campaign to free Julian Assange) have all created, but it is running out.
