Difficulty finding an NHS Dentist in your area?

One of the common problems I've been told about is cancer patients being unable to find a dentist in their area who is taking on new NHS patients.  This has forced many to either have treatment as a private patient, or worse, not have any treatment at all.

In 2015, Which? the consumer magazine contacted 500 dental surgeries (listed as NHS dentists) and found that 31% of them were refusing to take on any new NHS patients.  I believe this situation has got worse.

If you have been unable to find an NHS Dentist in your area, could you please leave a comment below with the approximate date you attempted to register (approximate month/year) and the area in which you live.  This will help me compile up to date information that I can present to the Government.

Thank you.
