Only four days have passed since the launch of our petition demanding the release of Boris Kagarlitsky and all other Russian anti-war political prisoners, and an impressive selection of left and progressive leaders have already signed on. They include, among many other elected representatives (by country):

• Russian Federation. Mikhail Lobanov, as an independent running on the ticket of the Communist Party, was the actual winner of the 2021 Moscow mayoral election, a victory stolen from him by electoral fraud (above Lobanov is pictured campaigning).
• United Kingdom. Jeremy Corbyn, the former leader and John McDonnell, the former deputy leader. of the Labour Party.
• France. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of France Unbowed (La France Insoumise) and the New Ecological and Social People's Union (NUPES)
• Germany. Former Die Linke and Party of the European Left leader Gregor Gysi
• Venezuela. Former culture minister Reinaldo Iturriza López.

We look forward to winning the support of all elected representatives who stand for the democratic rights of Boris Kagarlitsky and Russia's other brave opponents of war abroad and oppression at home.
