Demand Immediate Action: Free Detained Protestors in Iran

While the conditions and faith of thousands of detained protesters like Armita remain uncertain, yesterday, Nov 6th, 227 lawmakers from Iran’s 290-seat parliament called on the Judiciary to issue death sentences for over 1,000 of charged protests. Several protesters have already been charged with trumped-up charges such as “corruption on earth” and “war against God”, which carry the death penalty, in court sessions where lawyers and families of detained protesters were not allowed to attend. In addition to mass arrests of over 14,000 protesters, intelligence agencies have arrested and detained over 250 human and women rights defenders, political activists, lawyers, and journalists.
It is evident that this outlaw regime facing its downfall is rushing to further the bloodshed of innocent civilians. The international community must take urgent action to stop this outlaw regime before it is too late for thousands of detained protesters.
Be the voice of Iranians; share this petition demanding actions to immediately end the crackdown on the protestors in Iran, release detained ones, and account for the missing and dead.
