I’m sorry to report that despite the numerous speakers that came in dissent of this change, the zoning commission has ignored our calls of disapproval.  Our cause has grown over 2,000 supporters and most of them local Fort Worth voters.  Our voices will be heard in the coming weeks.  The city council representative Dennis Shingleton received a little over 3,000 votes total to win his seat in the last election so our voters will certainly be reminded of that in the upcoming elections.

In favor of bending over to developers who have no interest whatsoever in our communities the decision will now rest with the city council in January.
