House Bill 1922 states that the Department of Corrections Oversight Committee become established.  The committee will be comprised of 8 members of qualified professionals (legislators, physicians, clergy, attorney, legal scholar, formerly incarcerated individual, and DOC officer).  The committee will investigate complaints of abuse, neglect and violations of human rights for those incarcerated.
