We keep telling ourselves that we are in a marathon not a sprint. And it is. We're here for the long haul. Many volunteers with Save Georgian Bay make it a daily commitment to provide countering facts to council, to reach out to various groups and stakeholders, to meet with the media and press, to be interviewed, to write press releases, to attend council meetings regularly and make statements, to organize our public outreach meetings, to host and attend protest walks around town, to have buttons made, to share documents on social media, to monitor our email inbox and so many other tasks too numerous to mention.
