Petition updateFederal Party Leaders: Join an Election Debate that Speaks to WomenThey set the campaign schedule

UP FOR DEBATE
Mar 26, 2015
When federal election time comes, the campaign schedule fills up fast for the political party leaders. We need to make it clear to the people leading each party’s campaign that having their leader participate in a debate on women’s rights should be a top priority.
Katie Telford is the national campaign co-chair for the Liberal party, and the one setting the Liberal’s campaign schedule. When asked publicly about the debate, she recently said, “You must be one of those people tweeting at me about this.” We know she’s hearing us—we just need to show her how many of us there are!
And tell Jenni Byrnes, the Conservative campaign co-chair, that we want this to be an ALL PARTY debate.
Help make the debate happen!

I want @JustinTrudeau & @PMHarper to join party leader debate on #womensrights this election @telfordk @Jenni_Byrnes change.org/upfordebate
Campaign co-chairs are the people who set the schedule, and we need their commitment for the debate to happen. Please spread the word and make sure they hear us.
