Frank Gibeau and staff responded and said they read all the comments and still plan to shut down Castleville Legends. They plan to reopen Cityville (remember they shut 10 games to move you to Castleville Legends) but for mobile (phones and tablets) only. They probably will reopen Castleville Legends later after they deleted all the accounts/game info. They could of switched it back to mobile or sold it to another game company but didn't. They believe that you ALL want to play with farms like Farmville and war games like Dawn of Titans and CSR2. Most of you have moved to other non Zynga games since Zynga has habitually closed their games for FUN. Remember Zindagi and Natural Motion are Zynga game companies. Farmville 2 Country Escape continues to have the same bugs as all Zynga games and they'll probably close it for Farmville 3. Zynga will soon close all their sites related to Castleville Legends (Castleville Legends blog, Facebook, and Zynga Forums) and ALL app reviews will be deleted when they remove the app from the app stores so please comment on the MAIN petition. Zynga's problem isn't the game but bad planning decisions (timing and event design) by game developers, various bugs, and cheaters. Zynga simply fell out of love with Castleville Legends. It was clearly evident. Over 8 months of no holiday events. Releasing Hazel was annoyance to Zynga so they dumped it out the trash. Zynga game developers not knowing how to deal with the Unity player issue. The reappearance of old events and Zynga acted like it was normal when you couldn't actually redo them but they maintained you could. Zynga support saying for months that Castleville Legends closing down was a rumor and they were developing events and "just wait and keep playing" raise your vault storage and keep crafting. That they'd rather upgrade/raise levels of Farmville 2 Country Escape and the support website than work on events for Castleville Legends. The funny thing is the players of Frontiersville, Farmville, Cityville, Yoville, Chefsville, Castleville, Pioneerville and many other Zynga games WERE Castleville Legends Players too. This petition will be left as reminder for all those looking up Zynga and their games. And if they bring back Castleville/Castleville Legends in the future. A lot of you have signed the petition and we thank you for caring for a great game with so much potential.
