Code Red for Fair Rescue

Today Animal Heaven Animal Rescue called a code Red. This is when animals need to be urgently rescued from either the meatman or a fair and often involves having to pay to have the animals handed over to safety. These animals are either being ill-treated, are injured or abandoned. In the case of today's Rescue a month old donkey had been seperated from their mother and urgently needed to go to faster care, which the lovely Christine and Garry provided at a moment's notice - Thank You Guys. There was also an emaciated horse, another donkey and several dogs (being kept in a crowded crate without food or water in the heat). They are all safe at AHAR tonight where they will be seen by a vet, fed, watered and settled in warm comfortable bedding before they are made ready to be rehomed and start their new lives.
