You know… last week was a great week; we were able to speak to lawmakers and was able to be heard… with mutual interest received. So I really want to be grateful and I want to promote the hope of those meetings, knowing I will have to have many more before it’s all over. But this week…My GOD! As we don’t “do the holidays” per se, our spirit and faith is not rooted in commercialism or gifting, it’s was planned to be a week of family, happiness and joy. However, her birthday is the 29th. This was the very day that she enjoyed… the very day that allowed her to have more gifts during Kwanzaa and have more time off from school to celebrate her day. I miss her happiness around that. I miss the joy she felt when she would get out of school for the holidays and scream, “Party Time” to all the family! I miss all of that… but especially her! So as a Birthday gift, can I ask you to give a present for her day… the gift of another signature. Our goal short term is 1,000 signatures and we are at close to 900!!! Please send this to the person you know hasn’t signed and those that can forward it along.
