Homeless Situation Report Update this Monday, January 27, 2025

This Monday, January 27, 2025, at 4:30 PM, Jamie Spinelli will be providing a Homeless Situation Report Update to the Vancouver, Washington City Council. You can read the report ahead of time: https://vancouverwa.portal.civicclerk.com/event/63/files/attachment/1430

Following this, at 6:30 PM, the City of Vancouver Council meeting will occur. If you arrive before 6:30 PM, you can sign up to testify on any item on the agenda, including the workshops. I plan to attend to share my concerns about the escalating situation at the soundwall. Since the last time I testified, I have recorded two different fights, and my neighbor has intervened in a drug overdose.

I want to stay in front of the council as a concerned citizen for the unsheltered individuals staying there and for myself as a homeowner. Please join me in advocating for the expansion of the 1000-foot encampment law to ensure the safety and well-being of our residential neighborhoods and schools.
