Update!! 07/23/2021

Offender VENNE, KENNETH , SID # 02214816, was placed under special review for parole on 7/23/2021 due to new information.

I received the above text from the TDCJ this afternoon. I called the liaison’s office and they told me it isn’t a special review because of medical reasons, but something to do with the case itself. They didn’t have any other information.

What they did say was to ask everyone who knew Ruby, Paul, and Keith to write how their murders affected you. I really believe, maybe naïvely, that they could hold him until his Maximum Release Date, which is 07/12/2038, if enough of us contact them and let them know how his actions affected our lives.
