If you or your friends and neighbours use QR codes, these can be a great way of sharing the petition. Just using the image attached, and your mobile phone, you can sign the petition. I find this effective at parties, in doorstep conversations, or just on posters.
Anyway, thank you those that recently signed the petition a few days ago. You've doubled our signatures to 88. It's not as much as the hero to zero petition, but residents have been really feeding into the watling car park plans, which developers and the Council have temporariliy re named The Riverside Approach. I have sent some other names to them and they will consider everyone's suggestions that they have received.
Also, the next community engagement workshop will now be in the spring and will have brand new improved plans, to go to planning in June, possibly as an outline application.
Feedback included suggestions for the new park including CCTV and lighting, and some residents favoured a play area.
