We are delighted to say that Enfield Council has u-turned on the plan to stop locking cemeteries and parks - a proposal that was first passed by the Council Cabinet.

This is thanks to all of you! Signing the petition, sharing and joining the call against this plan - which would have saved just £37k.

It shows that petitions can work - and that common sense won the day. But it should have never have got to this stage in the first place - but still - a great moment for the community to celebrate.
