📢 Petition Update: Let’s push this forward — we need your support!

Since launching the petition on November 26, 2024, we’ve gathered 375 verified signatures—short of our goal of 400—but momentum is building  . Thousands of families in BC continue to be harmed by a system that separates children from their homes with little oversight or accountability.

💔 One comment reads:

“MCFD gets away with murder… they are above the law… no matter who they hurt”

This powerful testimonial reveals why so many are calling for change. But a petition with too few signatures may not catch the attention of the Representative for Children and Youth, Adam Olsen, or the Ministry of Child and Family Development—the very decision-makers this petition aims to influence  .

Why now?

Petitions with 1,000+ supporters are five times more likely to gain traction with officials—and we’re well on our way  .
The emotional stories shared by parents and children affected by BC’s foster care system remind us this is urgent and deeply personal.
