SGC's and the DPO chair
The quoted bylaw is for the SGC's of the Democratic party and is one example of the suppression of challenging candidates. We are currently looking for the specific bylaw for the party as a whole to quote as well. Nathan Soltz, the chair of the DPO told me directly that it's in their bylaws to endorse the incumbent candidate. Even if he is mistaken, or intentionally misleading, the democrat constituents will more than likely take his word and endorse Tina without ever knowing there are other options. We saw this during the convention when the DPO Treasurer, and another DNC member endorsed Tina during the Nan Honeyman dinner, despite Tina not even being a declared candidate yet. It is far too early to be endorsing candidates for the primaries when due diligence has not been done.
