Our campaign against "ghost jobs" is going viral. Over the weekend, we surpassed 40,000 signatures. I’m confident we can hit 100,000 if we can show the world just how harmful these bogus job listings really are.

To do that, I have a favor to ask: Would you record and upload a brief video about your experience? 

Here are a few quick tips (no need to overthink it):

• Film vertically in a well-lit room. Make sure the light is in front of you, not behind.
• Speak from the heart. Tell us what your job search has been like.
• Some details. If you have any proof that you applied to a “ghost job,” feel free to mention it — but it’s absolutely fine if you don’t. What matters most is helping others understand what it’s like to rely on job boards today.

The truth is, job seekers are some of the hardest-working people in America. Your story can help the public — and policymakers — understand this clearly.
