As most of you would know I have an Awareness Day booked for Forrest Place, Perth, Western Australia and Town Hall Forecourt Area, Sydney. Both are being held on the same day/date, Saturday the 7th of May. Perth is 11am - 2pm and Sydney is 11:30 - 1:30.
Amanda Dorn of the WA Animal Justice Party phoned me and asked if they could support our day and I have agreed. This however does not mean I endorse their party in anyway, however I do know they strongly support an end to this savage industry.
Stand Against Live Animal Exports has around 8-10 banners that need to be supported by people, we also have 2500 flyers to distribute, so please if you can pop down to Forrest Place and help us to help the animals.
Just on that note, this day is a Stand Against Live Animal Exports Awareness Day,.
Please do not confuse it with being vegan, it is not about promoting the AJP or any other individual, although I must say a major Thank You to Anna-Lisa Kelly for the distribution of over around 1300 - 1500 flyers in the past 2 and a bit months, the petition numbers climbed an extra 2,005 signatures mostly because of that effort alone. So thank you Anna-Lisa.
Stand Against Live Animal Exports is a peaceful group, we are not out there to disrupt the public or create problems. These Awareness Days are to pass on information to the public, I believe you get a far better response if you deliver the message in a non aggressive manner. So please let’s all get together and show unity for these animals.

I have had a few WAnpeople asking to buy Stand Against Live Animal Exports T shirts for the Day, if anybody wants one for the day, it would have to be posted by 4pm today I’d say to make it in time, the only other option is to pay for express delivery and I have no idea how much extra that is. Even if it was posted today, I cannot guarantee it would make it in time.
Currently the Tees are $40 with normal tracked postage, I’ve had these parcels arrive in 4 days but recently one parcel to Perth took 3-4 weeks.

Melbourne - the 2nd of July is booked in, I will update more as it gets closer, but this time we have the area directly opposite Flinders St Station in Federation Square -  Swanston Street steps. I have applied for 2 handbill permits so I’m going to ask that people rotate doing the handbills. I will do it prior and after the Awareness Day rally ends but I will need people to do it while I’m making speeches..
