With the current floods in NSW and the forecast for more extreme weather, I will make a decision on Wednesday about going ahead or cancelling the Protest/Awareness Day. We did have a supporter driving down from the Tweed area (11 hour drive) but I doubt they’d get through at the moment.
The last 2 Protest/Awareness Days in Sydney it was forecast to rain, the first one it rain until 1/2 an hour before, the sun came out for the event and as we were packing up it started to sprinkle, that afternoon driving home it poured down, last one we had a 2 min sprinkle and gone. 
I would prefer to go ahead though, even if 5 of us turn up, 5 people can still educate many people in an hour.
I get a lot of phone calls, texts and emails on the Saturday morning asking where the protest is at, what time, is it still going ahead...I am really sorry but protest day I have so much to pack, get out of my hotel room and walk to Town Hall pulling the cart (with Edith pushing), I don’t have time to reply to messages etc until it’s all over. So PLEASE if you want to know if I’ve cancelled check STOP THE DEATH SHIPS FB PAGE, if I’m going to cancel last minute I will put it on there. Last time I woke with a migraine, I came close to cancelling but my medication worked in the nick of time.

To anyone affected by floods, I hope you, your family, including animals are safe. To everyone else I hope life is going well, please though don’t forget your Orange Ribbons xx
