Somehow “Baby Sign Language” is trendy for hearing babies to learn but not for Deaf?

The infant program in LAUSD does not list American Sign Language as an educational option or service on their Low Incidence parent brochure. This is an example of implicit bias and does not allow parents to have all information to make INFORMED choices for their Deaf children.

(Lenguaje de Señas Americano) ni da opción o servicio educativo en su folleto para padres de Baja Incidencia. Este es un ejemplo de sesgo implícito y no permite que los padres tengan toda la información para tomar decisiones INFORMADAS para sus hijos sordos.
