Elizabeth City University made the swift and appropriate decision to immediately remove the the police officers that were housed in campus dorms. While we appreciate this win, we also know the fight is not over! (read the ECSU statement)

The Elizabeth City Community is still bravely hitting the streets in pursuit of justice for Andrew Brown Jr. We are all also awaiting for the release of the body cam footage that captured Andrew's murder. We need to be sure that this isn't a temporary fix and ensure that the officers don't return to use campus facilities again.

HBCUs should not be asked to provide support to law enforcement while they silence, pacify, and brutalize protestors fighting for Black Lives!

We gathered over 1,000 signatures in only 24 hours! Please help us keep this momentum steady as we direct our new demands and amended petition to the Elizabeth City City Council, Mayor, City Manager, and The Pasquotank County Commissioners.
