As of January 4 2026, our club has sent letters to over 50 senators and leaders around the globe.

We have a website, a documentary and replies from senators. Everyone in Advocacy club has been amazing and worked so hard creating posters, sending letters, and raising awareness.

We will continue sending our letters to the leaders of our countries until we get the proper regulations and trash bins (among other simple affordable solutions) we ask for!

Thank you so much to everyone who has signed and we are continuing with this project as a club along in conjunction with our new project about microplastics (keep your eyes peeled!) as this project gains traction. 

The small pond that this whole project started with, one duck with fishing wire and a hook in its foot has grown tremendously... Even to other countries!

And anyone who wants to know what happened to that duck? It got take to a rescue center and got the hook and wire removed and now lives happily at the pond, which since we started our project, I have not witnessed any ducks with fishing wire.
