Now 7,000 signatures! …as we approach the end of this stage.

This is the last week of collecting signatures for this petition. The campaign as a whole will go on after the petition is closed in a week’s time, and after the deadline for consultation responses (11th October), but these are important deadlines. Please share the petition (SaveOurTrains.co.uk) with friends, family, neighbourhood and community groups, work colleagues, etc. Even if you have shared it once already, please share again it _now_. Soon it will simply be too late. And please make sure _you_ complete a full consultation response. It’s no good leaving it to ‘someone else’. Petition signatures are a help, but individual consultation responses in your own words and emphasising what is important to you will count far more.
