Calling all Fredericksburg Inner Connector, Trail Network and Park Supporters!!!

 Stafford is asking for input for its 1st ever Transportation Master Plan. The survey is due by Nov. 20 and includes questions as well as an interactive map future. Help plot Stafford's Transportation and Trail. future!
 
Phase 1 of the survey is more complex than most. It allows people to place comments at different roads in the County. You can also like or dislike comments that people have posted.
 
There is a cluster of comments in Blue, Green, Purple and Orange Between Mine Road all the way to the South end of Celebrate Virginia Pkwy near the river that support a New Road, the River Crossing and a Trail. Please like those comments, but do not like the comments that are against a river crossing, you can dislike those comments. There is a small group of NIMBYs that has organized to stop the river crossing and trail. Friends of the Rappahannock are staying out of it. Some of them support the River Crossing Trail. We are winning the battle, but we need overwhelming support to outnumber the NIMBYs!
 
Phase 2 of the Survey has 5 questions. It's important for you to comment in question #4. Here's my comment. Feel free to copy and past it on question #4.

I support the Fredericksburg Area Inner Connector and Trail Network. It will reduce traffic on many roads including the most congested areas of Routes 17, Route 1, Route 630 and Route 3 West. It would provide alternate routes to reduce congestion and improve Fire and Rescue Response times. The Trail Network would also help enhance and support a new Bus Route that would connect the Population Centers with the Work and Destination Centers.
This common sense improvement would greatly enhance our Transportation Grid System.
