Alief ISD Function Code 41 (Central Administration), Annual Budget for 15 Administrators

Because Alief ISD Trustee Rick Moreno publicly alleged that the information I quoted during my patron presentation at the January 18, 2022 school board meeting was incorrect, and he wanted to get his statement “on the record” since my patron presentation was on the record, 

I did an open records request for the exact administrators and titles the district claims in their annual budget, under function code 41 (General Administration). 

Through the districts open records response to my inquiry, there are only 13 administrators at the Alief Administration building, and 2 administrators in other locations, for a total of ONLY 15 administrative salaries under the districts function code 41 (General Administration). 

MY SINCERE APOLOGIES TO TRUSTEE RICK MORENO. NOT ONLY DID I GIVE THE DISTRICT TOO MUCH CREDIT BY STATING THERE WERE 26 ADMINISTRATORS CONSIDERED UNDER FUNCTION CODE 41, BUT I ALSO LOW BALLED THE BUDGET PERCENTAGE BY ONLY STATING 2% WHEN YOU ALL WERE KIND ENOUGH TO CORRECT ME THAT THE PERCENTAGE IS ACTUALLY 3% OF THE DISTRICTS ANNUAL BUDGET. 

Alief ISD 2021-2022 annual budget is $458,500,560 (basically 460 million dollars) 

2 percent of $458,500,560 is $9,170,011 (basically 9 million dollars) of Alief ISD’s annual budget is spent on 15 people each year. 
3 percent of $458,500,560 is $13, 755,016 (Basically 14 million dollars) of Alief ISD’s annual budget is spent on 15 people each year.
