Equal Reporting Efforts

Bellville ISD 2021 Bond Proposal  Average home value of $200,000 = $32/month increase  Residents aged 65 or older applicable for homestead and over 65 exemptions

Channel 13 News is 63 miles from Bellville, High School (a 1 hour and 6 minute drive).

Channel 13 News is 11 miles from the Alief Administration Building (a 14 minute drive).

Alief ISD is also attempting to pass a bond on the November 02, 2021 election ballot, with little to no mention of their school board elections on the same ballot as well.

Why can’t we receive the same transparent reporting with both sides of the argument shared here in Alief, or the same watchdog attention always reported on HISD?

Great job reporting on Belleville. Let’s do that across the board on all school districts, especially in Alief.
