Ahead of Eating Disorder Awareness Week which kicks off this Sunday, it would be AMAZING if you could do two things to help get the government to see tackling eating disorder treatment as a matter or urgency!

Dear XXX
Ahead of Eating Disorder Awareness Week which starts on Monday 1 March, I wanted to reach out to you to ask for you to show your support for people affected by eating disorders.
Every 62 minutes someone dies from an eating disorder, and over the last year we have seen a 46% increase in the number of people struggling and being referred to services. Eating disorders don't just affect teenage girls, but they affect people of all ages, all genders and people of all sizes. Over the last year we have seen huge strides forward in the way eating disorders are being talked about, but there is still a lot of stigma, a lack of understanding and a lack of funding invested into services.
On the 9 February, #DumpTheScales hosted a Government Roundtable bringing together MPs, experts from the NHS, PHE, and campaigners. It is now more important than ever that we keep the momentum going!
There are two things you can do for EDAW 2021:
- Take a photo with the logo. Please do share on your social media and send the picture over and I can share on social media
- Post your support on social media: I am committed to tackling the injustices faced by those with eating disorders because no one should be dying from an eating disorder in 2021 - Will you join the fight today so that everyone can get the support they need? #DumpTheScales
