Apparently The Pre-1922 Justice Project Is Auditing Irish Government Policy Now

The Pre-1922 Justice Project now has an official Facebook page, and apparently we’ve already reached the point where I’m comparing the 1993 law, the March 2026 policy, and the Government’s own historical precedent... And tagging Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan and Fianna Fáil in the homework. 

Yesterday I also posted some of the actual records from Michael Flynn’s trial, and this is exactly the kind of evidence I want people to be able to see for themselves.

The prosecution used Michael’s Land League membership as part of the picture they presented of him, describing him as a man of influence and someone capable of being in a “position of command”.

But then you read Mary Nally’s testimony.

Behind that image was a father of seven children, sitting in prison trying to get help for his family. Nally testified that Michael said he couldn’t send his children to school because they were “almost naked.”

That contrast is exactly why these records need to be seen.
