In Punk Rock's 40th Year this is where UK Punk Rock began with The Clash and The Damned meeting The Sex Pistols here.The demos for Anarchy In The UK, God Save The Queen and Pretty Vacant were recorded here by the late Dave Goodman, too. Britain's biggest all girl band Bananarama lived here after that as did Sex Pistol Glen Matlock in the 1980's. The cartoon artworks on the wall by Sex Pistol John Lydon have been likened by Paul Graves-Brown from UCL as being as important as the Cave Paintings by Prehistoric man at Lascaux in France.
