July 21, 2015 1:45pm he Supreme Court on Tuesday afternoon will hear the oral arguments on the petition vs. DMCI's Torre de Manila project. "Oral argument in KoR v DMCI will proceed at 2 pm today for petitioner's arguments; arguments for respondents to be heard on Aug 4," said the SC Public Information Office on Twitter. The petition was filed by the Knights of Rizal. Named respondents were DMCI Project Developer Inc. and the City of Manila. It is also asking for the demolition of the 46-storey condominium project, the construction of which has already been temporarily stopped by the tribunal. Solicitor General Florin Hilbay is expected at the hearing to represent the respondents from the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, and National Musuem.
