Everyone who has supported this petition over the past two years is owed a long overdue thank you! I am so appreciative of the continued support that I have received; the shares, comments and even donations are truly generous. 

In particular, I want to thank by name the individuals who have gone out of their way and contributed money to this petition. I have and will continue to repay your generosity by doing my best to boost the visibility of this petition through social media so that those in a position to act upon it are made aware of its presence. We all care deeply for the proud tradition of Tiger baseball in Detroit and recognize that the classic Old English D which adorned the home uniform for over eight decades remains a small, yet integral component of those formative Michigan summers spent with generations family and friends at The Corner and later at Comerica.
