We did it! Jessica and Mario are home with our family in the U.S! We aren't totally out of the woods yet as Jessica still has a deportation order – but they have been reunited and released, our main goal! We are consulting with lawyers for the next step. For now, we can rest a little. We are so grateful to all of you who signed the petition. Without your support, we are unsure if Jessica and Mario would be with us in the States today. Jessica has told us that parents were deported without their children. This could have been us. Currently, Jessica and Mario have nothing. They got off the plane with a small duffel bag with just a few items. We are working on getting them clothing, toiletries, a cell phone and food for starters.
