Despite the city's website saying the East Area plan meetings are open to the public, we have received confirmation from CPD that:

The Steering Committee meeting will be held this Thursday, Nov. 29, at 6PM at the Montclair Civic Building (Molkery) at 6829 E. 12th Avenue. They have also reached out to GPHC regarding the scheduling of an East Area Plan neighborhood meeting in Park Hill, tentatively scheduled for January 16.

[NOTE: By Jan 16th, the city could be closer to a final draft than one that may be edited based on Park Hill resident concerns.]

Please be aware that the Steering Committee meeting will be limited to the agenda (available here). For community members that want to discuss other items, I [Liz] would recommend that they attend the January 16 meeting that will provide for a focused discussion on Park Hill.

Deadly hit-and-runs continue to increase in Denver, with four in 2016, seven last year, and 14 so far this year. There is increased traffic and congestion in Park Hill and it will only increase without thoughtful planning.
