I cannot say enough “thank-you’s” to everyone who is signing this very important petition, as well as those leaving comments! It is important to note that it’s not just my right to pursue freedom and happiness that is on the line; but, it is all of us who are being challenged in this inalienable right…to serve the few who do not hold the following to be true for every single person in America: 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men AND WOMEN, are created equal, that they are endowed by nature of their existence with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men and Women, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. -Declaration of Independence

I am humbled and moved by your decision to put this at the front of your decision to support this petition. We are all affected by those who wish to dismantle, little by little, all that we cherish within our freedom individually and collectively. As the title says; “one little stone”, and this is true, but imagine hundreds, thousands, even millions of stones being thrown into the stagnate pond of hatred, racism, prejudice, bigotry, patriarchy, and misogyny…each stone causes a ripple, and has an effect. 

Spread the word, make those in power take notice, and let those who vote behind them with the exact opposite intention of the powerful words above feel the impact of our liberty and desire for a world that is truly FREE, and to know that we will not sit idly by and watch the calculated dismantling of our right to pursue happiness freely, without fear of retribution.
