The Redmond Flock contract was terminated and these surveillance cameras are now gone!

Redmond City Council met on July 21 2026 and voted to cancel the Flock contract. They were told by Flock at the time that the cameras would take 70-90 days to be removed.

We've been following that progress and can now confirm that the last of these 20 mass surveillance cameras have been removed!

Do note however, that there are still a few locations with private Flock contracts in and around Redmond. These include Home Depot, FedEx and a few HOAs (1, 2, 3) which you can see on the latest deflock map.

Thank you so much for voicing your support!
