Dear Supporters,

Allow me to express my profound gratitude to each of you for lending your voices to our petition. The fact that we have surpassed one hundred votes is a heartening testament to our collective resolve and to the ideals we share. Your support has not only strengthened our cause, but also shone a spotlight upon the importance of ensuring true academic freedom, free from external hindrance.

Yet our work is far from complete. We must now strive to bring our message to the attention of global human rights organizations, as well as to the broader scientific community. By doing so, we aim to defend Dr. Maltsev’s case, and, through his experience, reinforce the principle of academic freedom within Ukraine. If we can accomplish this, then the unity we have forged will serve as a beacon, guiding the protection of academic freedom the world over.

Let us continue onward, with faith in our shared purpose, and ensure that knowledge, thought, and discourse may flourish without constraint. Together, we can uphold the freedoms that foster enlightenment and progress for all.
