So, today Samuel Alito said he would not recuse himself from the January 6th insurrection related cases. This most political of animals said the calls for him to recuse himself for his clear violations of the ethical rules that apply to every judge, except for the entitled jurists on our Supreme Court, were simply motivated by political considerations. What balderdash! No matter what your ideology, we Americans have the right to expect a judge to impartially decide a case without a public foreshadowing of his or her's own biases. This is a standard that Samuel Alito has clearly breached.
Moreover, Justice Alito has shown himself to be a vacuous coward. He has foisted all the blame for the heinous flag flying incidents on his wife. Poor Mrs. Alito is to blame for all the furor that has arisen from the flag flying over their homes. What a good husband you are Mr. Alito; throw your wife under the bus to cover your own wrinkled behind. This is cringe worthy conduct that makes weasels look good. Perhaps Sam Alito learned at the feet of Clarence Thomas who apparently, had absolutely no idea that Ginnie was an integral part of the so-called "Stop the Steal" astroturfing. This is what passes for honorable activity on today's Court. What fools these Justices must take us for.

In the meantime, keep our petition going. There are likely more people you can contact to sign. Ask them all to post the petition on their social media and to keep regularly posting it. Call your Senators, write letters to the editor, do whatever you can think of to keep our voices heard. This is our Country, this is our Court. It is way past time that we take them back!
