This is day TWENTY THREE since this child was injured by her adoptive mom.  TWENTY THREE days since her grandma has seen her or even talked to her. TWENTY THREE days since she was taken to her abusers best friend.  She begged not to be taken. She shook, cried, and chewed on her fingers. OKDHS and the District Attorney's office of Noble County are keeping this child from getting justice and teaching her that if she reports abuse she will be separated and kept from the people she feels safe with. She just wants to go home. This is NOT ok.  

March 25th this sweet girl was injured by the woman who ADOPTED her.  Her family, whose home was a DHS approved placement, fought the system for TWO YEARS. She was ADOPTED 6 months ago. Just enough time to finalize the adoption and end oversight. 

Her family can't get information about her because the adoption severed her family ties. They are no longer her family. Nobody asked her or her sister if they were OK with getting a new family. They are NOT. 

This child says she wants her birth family.  "They love me and have never punched me in the face"

No charges have been filed against the woman who did this.
