Unfortunately, after hearing victim impact statements from the family and friends of Connor, the judge sentenced Manuel Rivera to 12.4 years. He received credit for time served and could be released in as little as 8 years. Although the sentence is extremely disappointing, it in no way takes away what Connor meant to so many people. He will never be forgotten and we will continue to celebrate him.
