Victory! Our Proposal Has Been Successfully Submitted!

We did it!  On Monday, July 20, 2026, Living Meadow Farm successfully submitted our Proposal for the Purchase, Renovation, and Reuse of the Town Lodging House and Adjacent Agricultural Land.

This incredible milestone was made possible because Easthampton delayed the submittal deadline by 7 days. That crucial extension gave Living Meadow Farm and our amazing supporters exactly 41 calendar days to develop and submit a comprehensive, competitive proposal.

It was a sprint, but look at everything we accomplished together in that short time:

Founded a Nonprofit: Successfully established our nonprofit business and secured 501(c)(3) approval.
Built Our Infrastructure: Set up essential business and banking accounts. 

Secured Funding Opportunities: Applied for vital grant funding to support our mission.
Engaged the Community: Promoted our cause and tabled at local public events to build grassroots support. Built an online community of supporters. 

Partnered with Local Design-Build team KEITER Construction Company,  DesignHouse413, and others to bring our vision for Agro-Housing and Chefs Kitchen to life.

Our submitted proposal outlines a bright, sustainable future for the historic Town Lodging House and its adjacent agricultural land.  Our core goals remain steadfast:

Preserving our historic structures.
Protecting and preserving vital agricultural land.
Providing much-needed affordable housing for the community.
