Just a quick update for everyone following the petition.

I’ve been told that while over 1,200 people have tried to sign the petition, only around 570 signatures are actually verified.
That means 643 people think they’ve signed, but their signature won’t count unless they click the confirmation email.

Because unverified signers won’t see this update, I’m asking for a small favour:

👉 If you know anyone who signed it, please ask them to check their email and verify it.
👉 Tell them to look in spam/junk/promotions too — the email sometimes lands there.
👉 It only takes a few seconds, but it massively boosts the official count.

The petition is now formally submitted to the Oireachtas, so the verified total really matters at this stage.

The support so far has been unbelievable, and we’re very close to a much bigger number — we just need those verifications.
