Yesterday, Debbie’s inquest took place. The coroner concluded that her passing was a deliberate act driven by psychological distress, and confirmed the cause of death as suicide. Toxicology showed that mirtazapine alone was sufficient, and if it had not taken effect, the codeine would have caused rapid organ failure.
It was comforting to know from the postmortem that Debbie did not suffer she peacefully passed away without struggle or distress.
The inquest was conducted with great respect, and press were present, so news articles will be published soon, helping to raise awareness of Debbie’s story and push #DebbiesLaw 🐝 further.
We are incredibly grateful for all your support. We are nearly at 7,000 signatures, but we still need many more. We have been silenced as some people have reported our campaign who have ties with a individual my mum expressed her reasons for taking her life and debbies daughter is the one being questioned under caution not the individuals whom debbie in her words felt caused her to do this act .. which isnt fair on every level. But carefully stepping we will still keep her name alive to help raise awareness.Every signature helps ensure Debbie’s voice is heard and drives the change she deserves.
Please continue to share her story together, we can make a real difference.
