Thanks to Nigerian journalist, Olivia Ndubuisi, the BBC highlighted how  English proficiency tests in Africa are impeding the dreams of those who wish to develop themselves academically abroad. 

The BBC also questioned why there is no single African country on the UK Home Office's English Proficiency test exemption list.
