We have reached our first milestone, achieving more than 50% signatures, giving us a clear mandate to start formal discussions with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), in particular the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Mxolisi Nxasana. Today we have started our first formal discussion with the NPA, requesting a meeting with the Director of Public Prosecutions with reference to our request for an appeal in State vs Oscar Pistorius.
